Specialized courses at ECC are part of employments development program for various specialized courses that could provide professional specializations in related fields. To that end, ECC has designed specific courses in following fields that would lead to certifications, relevant employments and higher education credits.

Online Specialized certificate programs are in:

• CIT Certified International Translation
• TEC Teaching English to Children
• TFC Teaching French to Children
• TSC Teaching Spanish to Children

 CIT Translation Program is a certificate in Translation available in 12 languages of English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Arabic, Turkish, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Applicants may study certification programs in two or three languages, as they desire. Entire program is 200 hours of theory, reading, assignments and various translation projects completion. Language Proficiency Exam is required from applicants in their selected languages of Translation program. Proficiency Exams are conducted through Education Canada College Language Department. Graduates of CIT Certificate program may start an employment position or follow up to Post Graduate Diploma or Masters in Translation through university affiliates of ECC.

TEC Teaching English to Children is career training in Teaching English to Children that will cover responses to questions such as;

How Children Learn?

• What method works best with foreign speakers kids?
• What are language barriers in teaching immigrants kids?
• What are culture matters to be aware of?
• What method works for teens?
• Why would they be reluctant in speaking in front of peers?
• What methods should be used to teach conversation, new vocabularies or grammar to kids in various ages?

TEC is a 300 hours program accredited by TESOL Canada with wide range of employment opportunities in Canada and overseas. The Pre-requisite for this program is completion of ECC TESOL program.

Graduates of TEC Certificate program may start an employment position or follow up to Post Graduate Diploma or Masters in Education through university affiliates of ECC.

TFC Teaching French to Children also known as EFE (L’Enseignement du français aux enfants) is a unique teachers certification program with 200 hours of training that will provide substantial amount of skills in teaching French to children and teenagers. Entire program is online and can be completed within two to three months.

TFC is accredited by TESOL Canada with wide range of employment opportunities in Canada and overseas. The Pre-requisite for this program is completion of ECC TFSOL program.

Graduates of TFC Certificate program may start an employment position or follow up to Post Graduate Diploma or Masters in Education through university affiliates of ECC.

TSC Teaching Spanish to Children also known as EESN (la enseñanza de español a los niños) is not only an interesting program designed to teach Spanish to North American kids and teenagers whom speak French or English as their first language, but is also adjustable to teach Spanish to students from all other origins. Spanish is a growing language and a huge demand exists between families that somehow associate with the Spanish & Latin World. TSC is also demanded between Latin American families that have their kids growing up in USA or Canada without much chances of speaking Spanish, hence the need to have Spanish classes for kids. On the other hand, there are many Canadian or American business people that work or do business in Spain or Central & South America. Families and children of these individuals most certainly require Spanish classes for their kids and teenagers.

TBE Teaching Business English has a growing demand in corporate Canada and America. More Canadian employers hire their staff, engineers and scientists from abroad, more American corporations have international offices and conduct businesses with non-English speakers and more North American business schools enroll international students in North America (Canada & USA) than any other country around the world. Comparatively Chinese businesses are also growing population that requires Corporate & Business English Classes. TBE is specifically designed to provide lexicons and terminologies related to finance, marketing, advertising, management, investments, and general medium and vocabularies of day-to-day business world.

Education Canada offers customized language training in Business English & Business French as well as Writing French and Writing English. Additional Business Communication classes are also available. ECC business language programs generally contain four skills of Listening, Speaking, Writing and Reading directed toward general business contexts. However a more customized course setup can be available for clients who may need to improve any particular skill more than others in any specific business & field (i.e: Management, Health Care, Pharmaceutical, Engineering etc)

TAS Teaching Academic Subject is a unique approach in training and providing teaching guidance to potential university or college teachers with their teaching skills. Most universities nowadays hire expert researchers and scientists to work on university research projects. Some colleges require researchers associate teaching hours so that their researches and departments can better be funded. Problem is that most of these professors and PhD holders have little or no official training in Teaching. Knowing is one thing, transferring the knowledge and skills to do it is another.

TAS program developed through ECC has a unique approach that can teach Math Scientists how to teach math, it can teach Cellular Biology researcher how to transfer knowledge and teach General Biology or Molecular Biology class. Basically scientists and skilled technicians have the knowledge and education; TAS will simply show the way to apply that knowledge and how to transfer those skills inform of teaching. TAS works like a candle in the dark showing the way, but is the teacher that will do the walk.
